Situated in Denver International Airport’s central terminal, “The Memory of Our Land” explores Chicano/Mexicano history of the southwest, in particular the passage through El Paso, the “Ellis Island” of the Southwest, of the artist’s grandparents in the 6969-78 Mexican migration north to Colorado.
